Automotive Interior & Fastener Removal Solutions

Modern vehicles use thousands of plastic clips, retainers, and hidden fasteners. Removing them requires tools that are tough enough to pry but soft enough not to gouge the dashboard or scratch the paint.

Ningbo Dicong Machinery (VIKTEC) sets the industry standard by using Virgin Nylon materials reinforced with fiberglass. While competitors use recycled ABS that snaps under pressure, VIKTEC tools flex and return to shape, providing professional mechanics with a lifetime of reliable use.

Why do cheap trim removal tools break easily?

The Material Science: Most budget tools are made from Recycled ABS or PP plastic. These materials are brittle and lack elasticity. When you try to pry a tight door panel clip, the stress concentrates in one spot, causing the tool to snap instantly, potentially injuring the user.

The VIKTEC Difference: We use Virgin Nylon 66 mixed with Glass Fiber. This composite material has a “memory.” It allows the tool to bend significantly under load to pop the clip, and then return to its original straight shape. It is virtually unbreakable under normal workshop conditions.

When should I use metal clip pliers vs. plastic pry tools?

Usage Guide:

Plastic Pry Tools: Use these for initial prying on visible surfaces (dashboards, door cards) where scratching the leather or plastic is a risk.

Metal Clip Pliers: Use these for stubborn hidden clips or removing clips from the chassis after the panel is removed. Metal offers higher leverage but can scratch paint if not used carefully.

Our Master Kits: VIKTEC recommends selling “Master Interior Kits” that include both. Our kits typically feature 11 nylon tools for delicate work and 3 metal pliers/fastener removers for heavy-duty extraction, covering all bases.

Can I customize the color of the plastic tools?

Yes. Color is crucial for brand identity. While generic tools are usually orange or blue, VIKTEC offers Pantone Color Matching.

How it works: If you are a tool brand with a signature “Neon Green” or “Milwaukee Red,” simply provide us with the color code. We will mix the masterbatch pellets during the injection molding process to produce tools that perfectly match your brand’s ecosystem. We can also print your logo directly on the handle.

What makes your metal clip pliers distinctive?

Standard pliers often have thick jaws that can’t get under flush-mounted clips.

Ergonomic Design: VIKTEC metal clip pliers feature ultra-thin, tapered jaws designed to slide under the tightest plastic rivets. We also equip them with spring-loaded, rubberized ergonomic handles to reduce hand fatigue during repetitive bodywork tasks.
