Description:
The VT18031 3PC Brake Disc Run-Out Measurement Kit is designed to securely position a DTI gauge against a brake disc or other compatible component for precise run-out measurement. The supplied DTI gauge provides 0.01mm accuracy with a total deflection of 10mm. Locking pliers allow the assembly to be securely attached to a suitable suspension bracket or component, while the segmented steel mounting post can be bent into the required position and locked for accurate gauge placement. In addition to brake disc run-out, the kit can be used for checking ball joint wear, tyre and wheel run-out, gear backlash, valve guide and camshaft wear, drive flange run-out and end float, propeller shaft run-out, flywheel run-out, crankshaft end float and other compatible rotating component measurements. Suitable for cars and motorcycles.
