Why is precise machining critical for camshaft tools?

If a locking tool has poor tolerance, it allows the camshaft to rotate slightly during belt tightening, throwing off the timing.

How do you ensure the tool pins don’t bend?

Cheap timing kits often use soft steel for the flywheel locking pins, which can bend under torque, causing a nightmare for the mechanic to remove.

Material Science: VIKTEC uses heat-treated Chrome Vanadium (CR-V) or S2 Steel for all load-bearing pins. Our flywheel locking tools are chemically blackened to prevent rust and hardened to ensure they hold the crankshaft rigid without deformation.

Can I put my own brand on these complex kits?

Yes. Timing tool kits often contain 10-20 components. We offer a full Private Label Service. This includes designing a customized layout map/sticker inside the case lid so mechanics know exactly where each part goes, and laser engraving your logo and the specific OEM tool number (e.g., “VM-2025”) on the metal parts for professional identification.
