Radiator Vacuum Tool

Eliminate airlocks and overheat risks instantly with VIKTEC’s professional Radiator Vacuum Refill Tools. Designed to purge trapped air and refill an entire cooling system in seconds using shop air. Our tools utilize advanced Venturi technology to create a powerful vacuum (up to -28 inHg), ensuring coolant reaches the heater core and cylinder head passages. Compatible with all vehicle makes using our universal tapered cone or specific radiator adapters.

Professional Vacuum Coolant Refill & Purge Technology

Modern engines have complex cooling passages and low hood lines, making traditional gravity filling impossible. Trapped air pockets (airlocks) can lead to warped cylinder heads and heater core failure.

Ningbo Dicong Machinery (VIKTEC) manufactures industrial-grade Vacuum Refill Kits that turn a 30-minute bleeding process into a 5-minute job. Unlike DIY-grade tools that use plastic venturi bodies, VIKTEC tools are machined from Solid Brass and Aluminum, ensuring consistent vacuum pressure and long-term durability for busy workshops.

Technical Specifications

Main Body Material CNC Machined Brass & Anodized Aluminum (No Plastic Parts)
Max Vacuum Level -25 to -28 inHg (Requires 90 PSI Shop Air)
Adapter Type Universal Rubber Cone (Fits 15mm-45mm necks) or Specific Caps
Hose Material Reinforced Clear PU Hose with Fluid Strainer

Why is vacuum refilling better than the gravity method?

The Problem: Gravity filling often leaves air trapped in the heater core or the upper cylinder head. This creates “hot spots” that can crack the head gasket. Mechanics waste time idling the engine to “burp” the system.

The VIKTEC Solution: By using the Venturi effect to create a near-perfect vacuum inside the cooling system before filling, our tool allows atmospheric pressure to force new coolant into every corner of the engine block. This eliminates 100% of airlocks instantly, ensuring the vehicle leaves the shop safely without overheating risks.

Why do cheap vacuum fillers lose suction over time?

The Cause: Many budget tools use plastic venturi bodies. Over time, the high-velocity air erodes the plastic internals, or the plastic cracks when dropped, leading to vacuum leaks.

VIKTEC Durability: We engineer our vacuum generators using solid brass and aluminum components protected by a rubber shock guard. Our precise CNC internal machining ensures the airflow dynamics remain constant, providing powerful suction year after year, even in heavy-duty truck applications.

Does this tool fit all radiator types?

Universal vs. Specific: Most of our standard kits come with a Universal Tapered Rubber Cone. This is designed to wedge into almost any radiator neck or expansion tank opening (European, Asian, or American).

Master Kit Option: For high-end professional lines, VIKTEC offers Master Cooling System Kits that include specific nylon adapters (color-coded) for VW, BMW, Ford, and Mercedes. These thread directly onto the expansion tank for a completely hands-free, airtight seal, offering a more professional experience than the universal cone.

Can I customize the gauge dial for my brand?

Yes. The pressure/vacuum gauge is the most visible part of the tool.

Private Labeling: As an OEM factory, VIKTEC can customize the gauge faceplate with your logo and specific color zones (e.g., green for “Safe Vacuum”, red for “Leak”). We also encase the gauge in a heavy-duty rubber boot to protect your brand’s reputation against workshop wear and tear.
