Description：

The VT18036 Mercedes-Benz CDi Injector Clamping Bolt Thread Repair Kit is designed for repairing damaged or stripped injector retaining-bolt threads on selected Mercedes-Benz CDi diesel engines. Injector clamping bolts can seize or break during removal, leaving the original cylinder-head thread unsuitable for correct refitting.

The kit includes a 6 mm drill, 7–8 mm step drill and dedicated drill guide for controlled preparation of the damaged hole, together with an M8 × 1.0 mm tap for creating the parent thread required by the repair insert. The supplied installation tool is then used to fit an M6 threaded insert, allowing the injector clamping point to be restored for use with the compatible original-size M6 retaining bolt. On suitable engine applications, the repair can be carried out with minimal dismantling and the camshaft cover remaining in position, helping reduce workshop repair time. All components are stored in a blow mold case for convenient organization and professional workshop use.
